We are pleased to announce a new member to The Community: Elizabeth Stead. Elizabeth is a gifted jeweller, her work is of an amazing quality. I’m sure our Visitors will enjoy meeting Elizabeth and buying her work.
I create individual, handmade, necklaces, bracelets and earrings for women who understand their own style. Each piece is designed and made with thought and care in my North Yorkshire studio.
Inspired by the colours, shapes and textures of the semi-precious gemstones themselves, my designs are finished with sterling silver. Necklaces and bracelets have toggle clasps, which are much easier to use and kinder to the fingernails than conventional fasteners.
I have a background in retail jewellery and gem dealing and am a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. Later, training as an image consultant brought an understanding of how choosing the right colours, shapes and styles of clothes and accessories can enhance appearance and thereby confidence.
