I can confidently write that LizianEvents is an established event organiser. We have no interest in being the biggest or best. Our aim, as always, is to be a rock-solid business with a good, loyal following. Building a solid business can create conflicting ideas among those involved. A good business has well-defined parameters and stays within the guidelines. This is the only way to build an identity and strengthen the brand.
The second aspect is that the business directors and the people who are, in effect, customers must be clearly separated. Most importantly, work in a way that gives customers clear evidence that fairness and integrity are the fibre of the business. I know some will dispute this, and that is absolutely their right. And they absolutely have the right to vote with their feet. It is also their right to complain, moan, and gripe about the decisions a business makes when they feel, rightly from their perspective, that they have been wronged. Indeed, I encourage people to moan, complain and demean LizianEvents. Because the listener will have an opinion either way. I cannot change their minds, and I have no intention of doing so. Moan and gripe with careless abandon. I am happy and content to make choices that strengthen our business activity, not weaken it. Good business acumen is strong and works for the majority, not a small minority.
I’m not a fan of Artificial Intelligence. ‘Artificial’ is key to the reason why. I am a fan of using AI to gather information. It is the best way to get a fairly reasonable assessment of any question. I asked for an assessment of LizianEvents Ltd. Keep in mind that AI has no emotional connection to the question; it gathers answers from numerous internet sources.
I asked for an assessment of LizianEvents Ltd Lincolnshire Well Being Show. The Answer: LizianEvents Well Being Shows are regarded by attendees, exhibitors, and community members as well-organised, vibrant, and high-value events focused on holistic health, spiritual growth, and personal well-being.
Key Aspects of the Lincolnshire Show
- Large Community Presence: Major events like the Lincolnshire Well Being Show feature up to 100 community exhibitors and stallholders.
- Free Talks and Workshops: 60 talks, demonstrations, workshops, and classes (such as yoga, sound baths, Tai Chi, and drum circles) are free with admission.
- Positive Feedback: Reviews from visitors and practitioners often highlight a strong sense of community, a welcoming atmosphere, and engaging presentations.
A fair assessment. Some have a right to disagree. Many will see it as fair; others may not. This is the point of real holistic ideas. One is free to make choices, and one is free to accept or reject the choices others make. I choose not to conform to the majority’s idea of how a holistic or spiritual event should be seen. I have followed one path and stayed true to the original concept for over a decade. That is why we have the most regular community exhibitors, the broadest range of visitor interests, and the best, most varied talk and presentation schedule.
Time and again, I ask visitors whether they enjoy other events. And yes! I do have an interest. No good business person would ignore what others are doing. A consistent reply is “I, or we, do not attend other events.” Fact, not imaginative fiction. I hear this reply as confirmation that we stay within our boundaries and stay true to our ideas, and that our followers do, too. And thank goodness this trend is growing. The LizianEvents Brand is different, and this is the attraction. I don’t use AI graphics; we produce all our ads ourselves, which creates a recognisable identity. The background music used for our reels, videos, and media is unique to us and has become recognisable.
LizianEvents stands for diverse exhibitors and substantial, varied talks and presentation schedules. And thank goodness this is happening. A saturated market is draining the lifeblood from many event genres. Not just similar genres to ours. Looking for another reason for diminishing attendance is pointless; saturation is the key driver of falling footfall. Our policy of building the brand and staying on top of our media statistics seems to be working well.
By staying true to the original concept, we have maintained loyalty among the community, exhibitors, and visitors. This is not a false claim; our records support it. Yes, figures are lower than pre-lockdown levels. And there are a good number of people who no longer have holistic businesses, and some are no longer with us. This is the reality of the genre. The reality is, we’re doing more than holding our own in a difficult climate. There is no intention of changing any major aspect of the LizianEvents identity. It would be foolhardy to abandon years of investment in our identity. We remain committed to our four venues. We stand firm in our commitment to the principles of community-exhibitors.
I write this article because many feel tough times are ahead. Those who want to survive will have to make tough choices; only a clear-eyed assessment of reality will do. I have no intention of offering anyone suggestions on how they should proceed with their businesses. From my perspective, consolidation and strengthening our existing businesses is our choice. This is the message we send to everyone who chooses to work with us.
Community-Exhibitors love our trading platforms at Lincolnshire Showground. Newark Showground, Newcastle Racecourse and The John Fretwell Centre. Visitors love the large number of community exhibitors who attend the events. They also love the vast, unsurpassable depth and breadth of talks and presentations at every show. And this is the course we will continue to take. We know our exhibitors; we understand the visitors’ needs. We intend to continue solidifying the LizianEvents Brand.
