The Viper

Sometimes We Need A Lions Heart
Sometimes We Need A Lions Heart

I have waited to post this essay for a week or so; our community was working toward the Nottingham Event. So I held fast.  Every brain neutron screamed within my mind ‘You cannot let this go without comment.’ My mind is calm; nothing is done without the deepest reflection. Nothing is typed or published without careful consideration or checking of facts. Our community is working toward 29 – 30 July, nothing will stop them, we have no need of vile threat.

I considered an episode from the past

Six months ago an ‘exhibitor’ showed interest in becoming a member of our community. For some unexpected reason, he chose to contact the venue’s administration and inform them we were ‘fly by nights’. During his diatribe, he made comments about our integrity and business acumen. As Liz listened to the recording of the call, the manager who we had worked with for three years said ‘Here is the Cd of the call. I’ll back you every inch of the way.

We laughed at the insinuation’s and still do, I know this, he’ll not play the game with LizianEvents again. He did not reply to our emails, and we keep the Mp3 files and records ready if the snake slithers believeing we have lost our guard. Bite us with Cobra fangs, if we walk barefoot in the desert. In our domain, we understand the territory.

The snake charmers flute does not play a sweet tune to my ears

‘Ian I need to speak to you.’
‘Yes, my friend how can I help you.’
‘I was working a show this weekend, and an exhibitor made some venomous remarks about our Lincoln Show.’
‘Ok; let’s hear it.’
‘She commented – our show was pathetic; the readers spent all weekend without work. J.X only did one reading. A.N Other was so angry with the position she was given; she left the show mid afternoon on Sunday.’
‘Ok, let me deal with it.’

I spoke to two others within our community. Both confirmed the individual was indeed shafting our community.

Allow me to repeat many of the sentiments of previous essays. I do not play games, lie or deceive our community. We are a community and communities thrive on loyalty. Liz and I are administrators of the community: The reader best understand, we will defend our community and their dedication to the success of our events every single time it is attacked. The reader best understand, when I write OUR the word represents all of us. There is no more important goal than the success of our community.

When the doors to an event open: The business ‘LizianEvents’ has paid the bills and is in profit. We cannot be damaged financially. The excess earned from each event is diverted to the future venues and other expenses. For examples: Printing, event promotion, this LizianEvents News, and the daily and constant promotion of OUR community. Liz and I have a desire to see our community thrive, not only at each event but during every day between each the event. We are alive 365 days of the year, and visitors from every country in the world are beginning to look at our work. And by ‘OUR’ I write of the community.

What game do you think I am playing? Some practical joke? You best not think so: Liz and I administer something extraordinary, very special indeed. Anyone can hire a room, hall, show ground. Any one can organise an event and many succeed. I am pleased they do so, and they do it their way. Because their method works for them and those who attend their events. We are the administer’s of LizianEvents Community, and this is the separation. Our way is unique and has become established, copy it, pretend it was already has been done, or plagiarise it: Our community has no interest, they understand the reality, sequence of events, and evidence of what is happening. Many members of the community know the Events are their events. And they now know the LizianEvents Community ethos.

Rick Paul knows this see his FaceBook Post: –

Rick writes of ‘MY’ event and make no mistake: He is correct, Rick knows of his contribution to the community and the incredible contribution his community makes to him. Rick Paul is a success because he understands the power of reciprocal respect and integrity.

Allow me an indulgence – Allow me, reader, to return to the phone call: –

‘Ian I need to speak to you.’
‘Yes, my friend –  how can I help you.’
‘I was working a show this weekend, and an exhibitor made some venomous remarks about our Lincoln Show.’
‘Ok let’s hear it.’
‘She commented – our show was pathetic; the readers spent all weekend without work. J. X only did one reading.-  A.N Other was so angered with the position she was given; she left the show mid afternoon on Sunday.’
‘Ok, let me deal with it.’

I spoke to two others within our community. Both confirmed the individual was indeed shafting our community.

I will reply to the nonsense spoken by a person who was not at the Lincoln Show – One word is needed – Liar.

Useless Events?

It would be easy to reference the videos on our LizanEvents video wall: Try this LINK.

Or I could reference the FACT our Newark show is just twenty community members short of being fully subscribed.

Or I could point out Newark – Lincoln – Nottingham have strong bookings for 2018. OUR community is thriving.

Most Important

When a viper attempts to poison LizianEvents. Its fangs strike, steel armour and cannot affect our health. However, the poison has a numbing effect upon those who listen to/or believe it. I will not allow LIES to damage our community. It is essential the hard work and effort of OUR community are not destroyed by the cobra’s vile venom. The serpent cannot hurt Liz and me, and make no mistake we will not allow our community to be damaged or castigated by lies.

If you are part of OUR COMMUNITY and you perchance listen to the serpent, you best remember, it is not affecting the administrators: Its poison is destroying your work, effort and dedication. Their lies, damage your work, your intention and success. Listen to their lies, and always refer them to me, they will enter a perilous place. All you need to say is ‘I would suggest you email Ian with this feedback – contact him at lizianevents.com’ Watch for their reaction.

I will leave the snake with this certainty. People do not like their hard work and endeavours damaged by malice. The damage you inflict upon your inner-being is beyond measure. To the community, I comment:  Allow the vindictive to help themselves to failure and difficulty, never allow them to damage, who you are, the work you love and your future success. If you have the viper in the room, talk to the snake catcher. His name is Ian Timothy.

Liz and I are Hammer and Anvil who forge the structure of our community.
If the viper comes between the Hammer and Anvil; it best be sure, it is not a safe place to be.

And what of this viper? Deleted.

  1. I think the viper must have been talking about another show!
Martin and I attended this event – readers had clients, therapists were busy & there were plenty of visitors enjoying the variety of retail stands..
It is laughable that the person spreading the lies was not even present. I have come to believe that if people don’t truly know the facts – they simply make it up!!
Why they do this continues to baffle me!

  2. As you know Annie strangest thought is, these individuals seem to think we will not hear the nonsense. Next one we have I’ll put together the evidence and make a nice Post 😀 xxx

  3. So eloquently put, you and Liz beam out a positive energy. This is how to deal with the vipers. Bravo to you
