Barrie John wishes to thank everyone who made the Pure Spirit Mind Body and Spirit Show a super success. The weather was atrocious, and the press offered their usual stories of woes and dire warnings. And the dedicated exhibitors and Visitors still attended the show.
This was the last time The Pure Spirit Show will be held at the Lady Eastwood Centre. Next year we are over at the Cedric Ford Pavillion for the event. So changes ahead and good fortune, no doubt. But for the moment, Barrie thanks everyone who made the show so very memorable. See you next year.

You are fantastic people for taking the time and making the investment in Pure Spirit. The show’s success is down to the people who exhibit as you draw the visitors to the event. I know you achieved this objective, and I feel Pure Spirit will become recognised as the premier in the MBS genre in the long term. I also thank the people who made the Derek Acorah Memorial Award special and, most important, Derek’s widow Gwen, who has blessed the event and supported us to the future. In the long term, I know this event will become nationally recognised. And thanks to all who participated, and again special mention to Gwen Acorah. And, of course, Rachael Farrow, who won the Derek Acorah Memorial Award.”
