What can we say? No one involved can comment they did not enjoy a spectacular Well-Being Show. We saw a vast increase in footfall and overall interest from the onset. But none of us could have anticipated how the day would unfold.

We know that a good number of stands equates to many visitors. However, this equation exceeded the formula. I believe today’s show produced the highest ratio of visitors to stands of ANY Newark Show in ANY era. And this sweeping statement was confirmed by many who have long memories.

This country does not have a better or more varied group of community exhibitors for the Well-Being genre—the fantastic bonds and friendships within the community spill over into the essence of the event’s vibes. And this is key to what happened yesterday.

We no longer publish attendance numbers; there is no need to write about numbers because the most important aspect is ‘dwell’ time. Which is the amount of time people stay at the event. In fact, the majority of people stayed the duration. And many, many people have booked for the second day. This is the evidence of a brilliant show when people choose to return the following day.

The talk rooms enjoyed total capacity. All presenters commented on the huge audiences. Full talk rooms usually mean a lowering of people on the floor. Not so this time around. We could not see any influence of the talks on the numbers when the talks were in session.

Philip’s Yoga studio was at total capacity, and everyone who took part reported a superb and relaxing session. We’ll continue to expand on this aspect of all events.

Was the day a success?
The best Newark ever!
