Saturday review of the Lincolnshire Well Being Show.
Well, we knew that this weekend’s Lincolnshire Well Being Show had potential, but no one could have expected the turnout today. From early morning, the queue began to stretch many people deep. Thankfully, we decided to implement a two-stage entry process for pre-booked tickets. The steady flow of visitors was relentless throughout the morning. It was gratifying to see so many regular visitors as well as many new faces.
Not only did we see many hundreds of people at the door today, but the time they stayed was excellent. Most were here until closing time! The dining area was full all day, with the caterers commenting on how busy they were, and at one point, they struggled to keep up with demand. All credit to them; they pulled out all the stops, and none went without food or drink.
The atmosphere was simply fantastic; we couldn’t think of a better way to describe the success of today’s show. The community enjoyed a steady stream of clients and customers throughout the day, with smiles all around, and made numerous new connections.
There is always an ebb and flow of people on the floor, due to the tide of movement caused by the extensive talk schedule. With over thirty talks and presentations today, the resulting numbers through the door were inevitable. Of course, this is of great benefit to the community exhibitors, therapists, and spiritual counsellors. There are significant benefits to the holistic approach of the Well Being Show. The talks complement the community members, keeping visitors engaged for the entire day.
Incidentally, I was speaking with Peter about his presentation today, and he mentioned that the talk helped him sell a significant number of his books. The benefits of giving a talk or presentation can have a profound impact on one’s business, whether in retail sales, selling post-show products, or offering courses. Many community members indeed witnessed this impact today.
The talk rooms were mainly jam-packed. From the first moment of Richard’s fabulous gong bath to the last hour of demonstrations, the enthusiasm for the talk schedule was 101%. Let’s face it, there is nowhere else in the UK like the talk rooms at The Epic Centre, and hundreds of visitors cherish the community’s presentations.
So, was today’s Lincolnshire Well Being Show a success? The answer is that, without a doubt, magic happened here today. And, of course, we are lined up for another day of Well-Being Magic. If Sunday is anything like today, we will look back on this weekend as a spectacular success.
Well done to the 100+ community members who made today’s show such an absolute pleasure. It has been an honour to put the show together; every one of you is a diamond-bright star in the sky of Well Being.
So, we have another day tomorrow, and if Sunday turns out as well as today, we will have a brilliant weekend memory to treasure for all of us.
