Over the next two weeks, the LEN platform will be undergoing changes and updates. Readers can expect to revisit many Community Profiles, and these will be updated to reflect the progress of the shows.
Yesterday’s article Darren Stanton – Assesses LizianEvents has received over three hundred views. I am amazed the interest is so keen for this type of information. In truth, there was a resistance to publish the article. In the final appraisal: its formality and insight won the day, and the item saw the light of day. Darren has suggested he watches the correlation between articles, reviews and analytics, with a view to writing another article about the implications for those who interact with our media streams.
I must thank The Community for the support and interaction we are receiving. Even the most ‘difficult’ articles have received positive and thoughtful feedback and private message support. It is humbling to know more Visitors and Community are reinforcing the ethos of their shows.
The changes on the front page of LEN will include spaces for more visible advertisements. I feel it is essential to explain the reason for this update. As regular readers will know there is already a free classified advertisement facility on LEN: it is becoming popular with Visitors. Yes, it is early days and sales from the page is admittedly slow. This will change, and the classified listings will grow in number. It is a free asset and will continue to be free for the foreseeable future.
Growing traffic on this site means we have a facility to utilise the front page to better advantage. Therefore you will see larger display advertisements below the main articles and links. Transparency and integrity are key to our ethos. Consequently, it is vital for you to know that in time these prominent places will become ‘paid for’ – for the moment those who are placed in the larger ad spaces are there without charge.
In the next few weeks, there will be a series of polls and questions about the shows and LEN. Some time ago we sent out a questionnaire and received little response. The dynamics of LizianEvents has changed since then, and it is time to ask The Community and Visitors about the changes which will affect the evolution of OUR shows and media connections. It is evident Community, and Visitors know they are the people who create the atmosphere, ‘vibes’, and success of the events and it is essential Community and Visitors have an input into the future of the shows.
