Time fly’s: The doors to the first Well Being Show open on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 of this month. At the LizianShop we’ve received the usual enthusiasm for the show from customers.

This show has almost ‘cult’ status with many Visitors having attended every one. Dave and Noreen Ansley and Clive and Lorraine Clay immediately come to mind as whole weekend Well Being Show supporters. I spoke to Noreen today:

“We could not miss Nottingham Trowell Ian. The atmosphere is fantastic, and we consider The Community as friends. Your event seems to change for the better every time. Trowell may be small, but goodness it worth attending.”

Noreen is not the only Visitor who feels the same about the show. It always evokes the same feedback. Everyone mentions the ‘vibes’, atmosphere and catering:

As usual, we are providing basic but adequate catering. Our menu stays the same it is popular and fulfils nearly everyone’s needs. Incidentally, visitors with special dietary needs are welcome to bring their food and use the eating area.

Thirty attending Community is a good number for the venue. The event’s page is showing Twenty-nine on the list. Although, there will inevitably be changes nearer to the day.

We have kept Spiritual Counsellors numbers to five, and there is a fair balance of retail, therapists and information stands. The talk schedule will be announced on Thursday; we are awaiting confirmation of a subject from a few members. By the way: if you are still considering booking a stall put yourself on the list, you may be lucky.

Providing a varied talk schedule is essential. Although, there are some firm favourites who Visitors expect to see: the list needs to be as diverse as possible for each new event. We always strive to meet this objective. For examples: if you wish to learn about Spiritual ideas and concepts, listen to authors discussing their book or maybe a specialist talking about health products; you will find something worthy of your time.

Information about the attending Community Members will be the focal point of the daily news articles for the next week. Here is the present list:

  1. Always a great show, always busy, stallholders happily share their knowledge and, if they can’t help don’t despair, they will generally sign post you to someone who can.

You can’t miss Rick Paul and his waistcoat (s)! Definitely missed his calling for stage theatre and that lovely smile from Jurga Proudlove is so infectious, what an absolute lovely lady. Well done Jurga on your radio interview, it was so informative and I am so proud of you.

I’ve been a tad held up these past weeks, but with the help of ‘Jeeves’ as chauffeur I hope to hop along with my good leg to the venue for a Liz special cuppa, nosh from Ian and and catch up with visitors and stallholders alike.

In my opinion it is the best show – a packed cosy, busy hall with lots of variety but small enough you can go round and round again you miss nothing and go home satisfied.

    Hats off to Lizzian.
