As you can see there is an excellent range of therapies available for Visitors to enjoy. Feedback and questionnaires suggest therapies are a priority for forty per cent of those who attend.
Our suggestion is to try more than one therapy. A massage, chakra balance and reflexology would provide head to toe wellbeing benefit. And all for the price of a restaurant meal. And if you have never enjoyed an alternative healing session, why not? All attending therapists are highly qualified and experienced. It is no surprise Visitors leave the shows saying ‘I feel brilliant after my therapy session’ or ‘The massage made my day”.
There are still many people who love traditional spiritual healing. And Gill Moore is one of the UK’s finest and most experienced spiritual healers. She has worked for many years in the most fascinating of healing arts. An amazing lady.
Here is a brief synopsis of some of the therapies available this weekend:
Aromatherapists – people who specialise in the practice of aromatherapy, utilising blends of therapeutic essential oils that can be used as a topical application, massage, inhalation or water immersion.
Chakra Balancing – Literally speaking, the word “chakra” from Sanskrit translates to “wheel” or “disk,” but references a spiritual energy centre within the human body. Within these chakras is ‘prana,’ or pure healing energy, that’s all around us and within us, to keep us healthy, happy and vibrant.”Chakra balancing realigns the balance of the energy centres.
Crystal healing – is an alternative medicine technique that uses semiprecious stones and crystals such as quartz, amethyst or opals. Adherents of the technique feel it has the healing ability.
Ear candling – also called ear coning or thermal-auricular therapy, is an alternative medicine practice which offers general health and well-being benefits.
Emmett Technique – is a special form of body therapy that involves the application of light finger pressure at specific points. These points are in sequences that enable gentle releases treating pain and discomfort, improving muscle action, flexibility & encouraging homeostasis.
Massage – is the manipulation of soft tissues in the body. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain.
Reiki (霊気, /ˈreɪkiː/) – is a form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
Reflexology – also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medicine involving the application of pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, which effects a physical change to the body.
