Mentoring and Course Dates:
15 March – Build Your Website: 10:00 ~ 17:00
Ian Timothy will teach delegates how to build and service their own website. The day begins with website design and how to make and take the best images for your website. During the next stage, Ian teaches delegates how to write interesting and captivating text: an essential part of the site-building process. Once students have images and text they can enter the world of WordPress and build their own basic site. From registration of a domain name to choosing a template. Designing three pages and then making the site live.
Delegates will leave the seminar with a live website which they can update and maintain for many years. Think about the potential of being able to update one’s profile, yearly calendar, course dates, and show attendances. The students can choose to make their site a weekly weblog or leave it as a simple, fast and effective source of information for clients old and new.
Attendees will ideally need a laptop computer to make their website on the day: However, it will be possible to build websites as demonstrations for attending students. The course is intensive, great fun and student interactive. One last point of note: Students will need to purchase their domain name on the day this is a one-off cost of fifteen-pounds. The domain name is their’s to keep and is owned by them. If the student chooses to run their site advertisement free they will anticipate a yearly fee of £36:00. We will discuss the options during the course.
If you have any doubt about Ian’s ability to teach you how to build and administer your new site: Take a look at this one!
30 August – Focus on Promotion and Presentation: 10:00 ~ 17:00
Learn the presenter’s secrets. On this one day, intensive course delegates can get into the minds of the four successful presenters. John Richardson will be reflecting on ways to add additional products to promote, gain and hold on to precious clients. He will show students how he has gained clients year on year. There is no doubting his ability, just look at his business and personal success.
Liz Clark is teaching the delegates about presentation and how to communicate with clients. She’ll demonstrate the methods she uses every day to impress her clients and leave that impression in their memory. Liz will talk about how to buy the stock which will be purchased and keep customers returning time and again. The mindset of buying stock has uses beyond retail! So do not think this part of the day only applies to retailers. The techniques Liz uses are applicable to anyone in the service industry: Readers, therapists and consultants will see how to make sense of customer relationships and why the psychology of sales works in almost all aspects of life!
When you are in the presence of Barrie John you realise his twenty-five years of success has not occurred by chance. Barrie will demonstrate that attention to detail cannot be neglected. He’ll teach delegates about working on stage and one2one. Barrie’s incredible catalogue of achievements cannot be dismissed. Regular television appearances, radio interviews and stage presentations. During his presentation, delegates will learn about the importance of loyalty and caring about your clients and customers.
Ian Timothy covers aspects of social media and promotional methods. He’ll demonstrate connecting sites is not as straightforward as clicking ‘like’s and posting information. Too many people see social media as a way fame and fortune. The facts are far from the thoughts of the ill-informed. Delegates will be surprised how easy the formula is to make work.
This day will be a fantastic learning curve. Attendees will leave with a mind full of useful and real methods to increase their potential for success. To work with four successful tutors is an amazing experience. Everyone will leave with ideas and methods which will last a lifetime.

The Tutors:
John Richardson will focus on the areas of using ‘add-on’ assets such as a book, branded cards and meditational media. He will demonstrate that to ‘make the difference which makes the difference’ we have to think of ways to attract a wider audience.
It is evident than John has made headways into identity and brand marketing, and anyone who wishes to discover the why’s and how’s of marketing will learn the methods and ways of the marketeer.
Barrie John is a consummate self-promoter. He will guide attendees into ways to present and work with clients. Barrie will demonstrate the power of interaction and visual identity. Attendees will enjoy a person and candid insight into Barrie’s evident success and country comprehensive identity. During the mentoring days, he’ll work one-to-one with all who attend and provide an unbiased assessment of how a client perceives the reader/spiritual counsellor.
None could argue with Barrie’s success. He has an immense following of regular clients and workshops and courses are in high demand. No doubt he’ll speak of television and the possibilities of stage work and its related avenues.
Liz Clark is not only the MD of LizianEvents Ltd she is also the owner of the fifteen-years successful LizianShop Ltd. Not only has Liz enjoyed the whole indoor market experience: she also believes that market trading has a perfect parallel with trading on the ‘show floor’.
Anyone who can remember Lizian trading at the shows knows the success of the stall. During the mentoring day, traders will learn how to attain the best possible return on investment. Sales secrets and how to present for maximum customer awareness.
Ian Timothy is acknowledged as a superb marketer. He has proven that consistent media connections will bring people to websites and social media. The focus of attention will be how to design a working platform and how to connect it to social media streams for the best advantage. Attendees will learn about mail-outs and how to collect a workable database. For the first time, he will evidence the continuing growth of LEN and the LizianEvents accessible website.
Attendees will be shown how to widen the visibility of a page or site. They will also learn about: photograph usage, correct page layout and the most critical aspect of page speed. He’ll demonstrate that website building and interconnection is essential to promotion. Do not think the process is complicated: attendees will learn from six years of the daily experience of working with media platforms.
The mentoring days will be intensive and will demand focus and commitment. However, the method of teaching will be clear and simplified. All attendees will receive printed booklets containing information covered during the mentoring day.
No doubt the days will be more than useful and the aspects of each mentoring day will more than cover the fee. In the long-term, attendees who put the ideas into practice will benefit in visibility and learn about the importance of identity and branding. The day is formulated to fit within attendee’s present activities. And there is NO insistence on right or wrong ways to success.
The cost of our mentorings day is £95:00 per delegate. It is an all-inclusive cost: tea, coffee, water, food and parking are covered in the price. Anyone who wishes to learn about adding extra revenue streams, learning the ‘secrets’ of excellent client relationships and seeing how internet presence is essential to their future will gain from attending the mentoring days.
