The mission to make the Newcastle Well Being Show a real winner is underway. We have booked forty Community Members, which is superb, as we have nearly six weeks before the doors open. With thirteen people showing interest, we know the show will be fantastic.

As many of you discovered at Newark earlier this month. We have succeeded in attracting a varied and exciting genre of community exhibitors. And the footfall for Newark was terrific. I know this was due to the quality of the stalls and what is being offered.

The presentation was incredible. Visitors continue to comment on the professionalism of all who stand at Well Being Brand shows, and rightfully so. We have all strived to make the events the premier ones to attend. And as we see, visitors are returning repeatedly because of the continuous development and evolution of all who participate.

So, Newcastle looks excellent, and I’m looking forward to travelling up to put the event together. With a record number of community exhibitors and a very high percentage of therapists and complementary practitioners, I’m not surprised we are already selling many pre-booked tickets, many of which are two-day passes.

Thanks to all of you who supported us when we received some vindictive reviews earlier in the month. Like many, I’m confused about how anyone can give a poor review when they haven’t attended an event! Such is the way of entitled people. We cannot always get our way in life; accepting this salient fact is part of the journey to happiness and well-being. Well-being is about responsibility, fairness and understanding that we are different.

I remember some of the ‘old school’ spirituals who believed their way was the only way. And some who could not reconcile themselves to alignment with material aspects of life. I watched many who professed to help others and wondered if they could reflect their message in their own life! Some did not come up to the mark and, not surprisingly, are no longer working in the spiritual or well-being field. Many aspects of our lives are outside of our control. And I see supporting and encouraging people to succeed daily as important as searching for spiritual enlightenment.

Well-being is holistic and cannot be cherry-picked. Physical, financial, intellectual and emotional security meld together and set the seeds of well-being in everyone. For those who question the validity of the suggestion, I reply that much research suggests that not being able to cover all bills and fear about future financial security have become society’s number one worry. And this indeed impacts one’s well-being.

I do not relinquish my responsibility to everyone who trusts our objectives. And I do not hide behind a mask. Transparency and openness are paramount to the future of The Well-Being Brand. You’ll never see us run from responsibility or make tough choices. Our object is to secure the long-term future of The Well Being Brand and at the forefront of this is material security. Anyone who decides that this priority indicates ‘something hidden’ or a ‘failure to understand the meaning of wellbeing’ is way off target!

To Conclude:

The Newcastle Well-Being Show is going to be a fabulous event. And thanks to the many, many people who continue to support and promote The Well Being Brand. I am absolutely overwhelmed with the sharing and contacts that are now part of the social media promotions. And remember, this is organic growth, which means people are sharing their own experiences of either attending or being part of the community.

We are truly a real community. And you have formed the most enviable friendships that go far beyond the Well Being Shows. Thanks to everyone who has been and will be part of the future of your Well-Being Brand Shows.
