One Week – Newcastle Magic

I am taking the long weekend to gather my strength for next weekend’s Newcastle Well-Being Show. I can write without a doubt the show will be a superb event.

The Angel of The North – A wonderful sight when approaching Newcastle

We have a record number of community exhibitors from every genre of the well-being spectrum. From retail to information, there are more than sufficient attractions for every visitor. Another attraction for visitors is the talk schedule. It is wide and varied.

I will not list the community list or talk schedule in this ‘Sunday Thoughts’ – I have asked Ian to provide a link to the show page at the end of the essay.

Key to my enthusiasm for the show is an encouraging development. Never have so many people offered help and assistance in distributing flyers. Ten thousand flyers have now been disturbed locally! This must have influenced the awareness of the Newcastle Well-Being Show. In the after-show assessment, I will thank the ten volunteers who have supported the show.

We have NEVER sold as many pre-show tickets for a previous show. And it is a 50/50 blend of single and two-day tickets. And as many of you will accept, the social media activity surrounding the show is substantial. I find it interesting that the massive growth of LizianEvents Group members (now 2800), the growth of daily interactions from many of the members, and the enormous increase in the LizianEvents Facebook page (over 3000 members) align with the growth in footfall and expansive and diverse community exhibitors of our fantastic Well-Being Brand events. There are few words to express my pride in all who are part of the unique brand.

I often ask new or potential community exhibitors what attracts them to the Well-Being Brand. The answers are consistent: great organisation, daily interactions, wide and varied exhibitors, and, most often, the focus on alternative and holistic health. Ten years after the first show at Market Rasen, the original foundational idea of the Well-Being Brand still holds fast. This aspect should instil pride in all who are part of the excellent brand.

So, I’ll enjoy my Easter break when this scheduled Sunday Thought’s is published, and I wish you all the happiest of holidays. And for those of you who are part of or visiting next weekend’s Newcastle Well-Being Show, I look forward to seeing you at the event.
