Another week over and I’m pleased to return to the LizianShop at Nottingham’s Indoor Victoria Market. Although the weather was not the best and the market has lost many of its traders and without cafes opening, we still enjoyed a brisk trade throughout the four days of opening. My gratitude for the fantastic support we receive for LizianShop and LizianEvents is beyond measure.
When we announced this weekend’s Well Being Market would not go ahead, Visitors, Community Members and Stallholders expressed great disappointment. The whole of Tuesday was taken up with answering calls and replying to emails. A few Community Members have chosen to rollover stall fees to the 13 + 14 Newark Well Being Market. Everyone else has now had their stand fee refunded.
One question is, above all others ‘Will the Newark Well Being Market go ahead?’. And my answer is ‘There are no certainties other than we will continue to promote the February Market as if it will open its doors’ We will not waiver from our policy of taking bookings for future events. And it seems many people have faith in our continuous promotion as we already have forty-four bookings for the market.
It seems clear, everyone involved in the Well Being Markets understands the limitations of the booking process. We all accept the government may change the tier number or choose to operate a lockdown. There is nothing we can do other than follow the same methods and look to the future.
I have also been asked if LizianEvents News will continue with a daily article and continue to support Community and Stallholders: my reply is why not? Our investment in this platform is substantial, as is the daily numbers of visitors who come to this site. There is no way we would lose the traction gained over the last four years: And there is no way we would lose the visibility attained over the previous nine months. We have plenty of resources to keep our platforms and promotion running. So be assured, LEN will be here for many years.
While writing about daily articles: I take immense pleasure reading the submissions and listening to the podcasts. Ian tells me that the demand for recording podcasts is growing. Many people are downloading interviews and self-help recordings. Debbie Ison’s podcasts have been downloaded over 100 times, a fantastic result and John Richardson’s Friday article reached 218 people on the day, another brilliant achievement: well done Debbie and John. And Dr Don Harradine’s ‘Money Talk’s’ podcasts are not only attaining extremely high listening figures on this site, but Dr Harradine’s podcasts are also top-rated worldwide, the iTunes figures are superb, well done Don.
We have to acknowledge the contributions made by Community Members who give their time, either by making submissions or recording podcasts. Not only do they gain recognition for their work and thoughts, but they help every one of us who are part of the Well Being Organisation. Every reader and listener becomes aware of LizianEvents activities through this platform. The more exciting and varied the daily articles, the greater the long term awareness of The Well Being Markets and Shows and of course The Pure Spirit events.
Again I express thanks for your efforts, faith in our endeavours and mutual support of your Community. This present situation is indeed a nightmare. Be assured every one of us cast the light of wellbeing on many thousands of people: Well done to you all.
